“Screaming Eagles”, the 101st Airborne Division.  He was a charged with the serious 2nd degree felony offense because he pulled a gun on two young men who he believed were trying to rob him in a dark parking lot outside a bar in Humble, Texas.  The police alleged that he also ran from the police in his car, was intoxicated and possessed marihuana.  The accused was wanting to work out a probation plea, but Jim Sullivan convinced him that he should go to trial and fight the case.  Despite the testimony of the police and the , the jury returned a Not Guilty verdict after about 20 minutes of deliberation.
